Jazz House Kids

Jazz House Kids

The nonprofit Jazz House Kids is one of the most respected and successful jazz education programs in the country. Founded in 2002 by jazz singer and arts education advocate Melissa Walker, the New Jersey-based organization has worked with close to 55,000 students of all ages through lessons and ensembles and has provided more than 1,200 free instruments for kids who can’t afford one.

With Walker at the helm and her husband, 9-time Grammy Award-winning bassist Christian McBride serving as artistic director, Jazz House Kids has received more than 150 awards and honors for excellence in jazz and jazz education and counts among its former students such rising stars as Isaiah Thompson and Matthew Whitaker.

We feel that an organization of such expansive scope and heart deserves all the recognition and help they can get, so we collaborated with Christian and the Jazz House Kids team to build a special selection of items to benefit their efforts. All profits received from the sales of these items will go directly to Jazz House Kids.
